Resistance has become a word of taboo, confrontation is uncomfortable and frowned upon. They would rather have you smile in the face of falsehood and offensiveness, simply to remain comfortable themselves.
In the future, Alex would be better off simply accepting my teachings without resistance.
The lack of dialogue and dissent in the modern classroom is not only disturbing, but terrible and disgustingly unproductive. The end of education is not to raise an actuary; rather, it is to create a critical and dynamic member of society.
